Some Site Background
This site started on a whim in 2009-2010, because I am a true believer in very small business. I added about seven “very small business” named sites to my domain portfolio. At the time I purchased the generic very small business domain names, I did not have a complete vision as how to use all of the sites effectively. Over time I have been tinkering with various free and paid methods to use the sites in the best ways possible to help as many people as I can. I love very small business and I love helping people so having the opportunity to blend a very generic business site with information, help and tools that people can use to prosper with business on-line just makes sense to me.
All business is comprised of very small business. That is how most closely held businesses first start, very small. An idea of one, two or more people of a very small business operation moves forward and hopefully continues to grow into other business forms. (IE…. partners, corporate, non-profits, etc.) But it usually all starts with an idea of one or a few and snowballs.
Very Small Business is a unique term for business and I think for the most part the term is ignored and just called small business. The way I see it though, very small business is zero to thirty thousand a year in income, for a very small business owner. Keep in mind most thriving small businesses make under $250,000 a year, but definitely need to make more than $30,000.00.
Now if a person could find a way to make up to thirty thousand dollars a year with their own very small business, that should hopefully be a good thing, especially in today’s economy.
So what is a person to do to make that kind of money year in and year out on a reliable basis?
Well for the most part, whatever you do requires consistently doing the same things over and over again and quite possibly in conjunction with other income resources with as little interference as possible.
I know when people started handing me money for what I do best for them, I had to start pulling together all the resources necessary to establish my business. Licensing, certification, accounting, banking, credit, taxes, supplies, resourceful people, suppliers and yet still keep on top of industry curves and know how to keep doing what I do.
But that does mean that others will pay me consistently to continue to provide services for them. In other words, in my world, once a project is done, there is no more work and therefore no more money! At least until more projects or work is found that can be fulfilled by people who are running their own very small business!
I could go on and on, since I have experienced many changes when I first decided to establish my little data processing consultant business back in 1993.
Today though, my primary business concern is making sure that every customer I help, stays a customer for a very long time.
Thanks for visiting this site and if you know of anyone who needs a little help establishing, expanding or maintaining an Internet presence, could you refer them to this site.
Oh yeah, if we (you and I) are doing some business right now, well I could cut you a check for referrals, once they qualify and pay me some money, but I probably do not know you yet and why would I want to do that anyway? Because it is very small business and some money is always better than no money and just maybe you can change that today!
Basically if you have any really good ideas to help other people, help with this site or any other online business sites you may feel will add to our businesses bottom line (aka CASH FLOW), I would like to hear from you!
Thanks for visiting the site!
